I was experiencing a bout of vertigo, so please take my performance of the song with a large grain of salt? : )
The picture of the homeless woman with her dog is me. Vee. Clean and sober (and yes, you will hear me repeat this from time to time) and on my way back to camp from washing clothes-hence the laundry detergent on my buggy. I documented, with many pictures, the steps the Lord took me through in traveling the consequences of my choices of life-style, before I made that last eternal decision. Although I went waaaaaay far out there into the darkness? At least I knew it! There are many who walk in darkness, but don’t know it.
The buggy was also loaded down with corrugated advertising signs that the store next to the laundry mat had thrown away. Those signs make for a decent insulation for a tent in the winter – Pam and Charlie taught me that. I had gathered the advertising signs from the trash with the permission of the store owner and, after loading them onto my buggy, I took them back to camp. But not before taking this picture. ; ) There were enough corrugated advertising signs for both Pam and me to insulate around the walls of the inside of our tents. The leftovers went to Charlie Dawg, who was always the gentleman. But, he had a 10 man tent? Which would have taken every single one. Soooo LOL
There is also a large bag of dog food in the bottom of the buggy. I used to tell the folks with gym memberships; “You don’t need a gym to get into shape? Just push a loaded-down buggy around Nashville a year or two!? That’ll get’cha into great physical shape!” Yeah, they don’t like me, sometimes, ’cause I ain’t one to mince too many words, anymore. LOL

Sometimes, the songs are not planned and we improvise with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This is one of those times. The lovely lady joining Sherman, Patricia, and me is Dr. Karla Brown.

This will be a regular bi-monthly feature on My Big Blue Pearl. I would like to invite all to share the joy of sharing our experience, strength, and hope of Jesus, in whatever capacities that God gives you. The Trevecca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Ministry was begun by Ann Foster, who moved out of state to be closer to family in her latter years. I’m grateful to have met Ann. If you think I get on fire talking about the Lord? You need to sit in on one of Ann’s praises for the LORD!? I was told that she has plans for beginning another Nursing Home Ministry in the town she now resides in. Praise the LORD!
Also, a big gratitude of thanks to Sherman Cox, for keeping this ministry alive. Thank you.
I will be introducing these folks to you as we progress. In this episode of February 24, 2024, we have Terrance Brown on the Keyboard, along with his son Justin who is also an accomplished pianist, and, Dr. Karla Brown, vocalist and wife of Terrence. Thank you for your love of the music. A love we share together. The love of the tunes. : )

Note – The keyboard player got stuck in traffic, and the boys spaced out and forgot the cue to lead into the nest song. Vee was laughing.
