Note – Even if the Lord had not weaved Nathan into my life at this time, I’d still be making the same decision to continue to follow the Spirit who guides me. No matter if I had to go it alone. It just helps to have someone who has been tried in trust and proved out to hold no agendas other than the Glory and Honor of God. Two are better than one. And, with a friend in Michael Lash, three are even better. For a three corded braid is not easily broken. (Found in Ecclesiastes 4)

Note – I actually did return to the church where I had been attending for two-three years, unlike what I stated, and after the Lord had told me to leave and not return. Which had disastrous results. I must confess that I had returned primarily for selfish reasons. I had bought my mom’s 2003 T-Bird and finally had a way to church besides the bus and bumming rides. But I also wanted to thank the SDA-Davidians for their hospitality. They are the more kinder and outgoing of the Seventh-day Adventist people. Although, don’t rile ’em up?!
I also wanted to thank the Sabbath School class for their kindness during our stay there. However, as I stood to thank them, the SSL teacher repeatedly and loudly stated; “Sabbath School IS OVER!” three times to my: “But… But I… But I just want to th….” before I finally gave up and, on my way out, thanked those I passed by…
This experience did teach me, though that, when the Lord shouts; “DON”T!”
It is to my best interest, including my peace, sanity, and sobriety, to obey and do not…. ‘Nuff said.

Introducing Exodus E1 – I will be separating the books 1- as we continue reading the Bible
Note – Also Introducing Michael Lash. During our time homeless, Dakota and I stayed in our tent, with the permission of the land holder, who is SAFPAW – Southern Alliance For People and Animal Welfare. An outreach program run by Laurie Green, to serve the low income and homeless, including their pets, in the community of Madison and surrounding areas in Tennessee. It was Christmas time and I had been invited, along with Dakota, and a couple of other women, to see the lights at Jellystone Park… Michael, being the driver. Michael has his own testimony of Jesus and so I will let him tell it, in his time. However, this night our paths crossed. When Michael came into the house, that was the SAFPAW office and also housed the two other women, he began handing out gifts and cards, to the other girls – Perian and and Lisa. As he walked closer to me, he handed me an envelope with a card….inside the card was $20.
Michael didn’t know me from Adam, so I asked: “Why did you do this?” His response melted my heart. “Because I didn’t want you to feel left out.”
We’ve been off and on friends, as God continues to weave His Fabric together, ever since – eight years, last Christmas. The year of 2016

Edit – We have to let the Holy Spirit renew a right spirit within, change our stony hearts to flesh, teach us how to listen and hear, and change our way of thinking. And the best Way I have found to do this is to begin asking for, thanking God for, and receive and partake of the Holy Spirit, first, before anything else and above all else.
Note – I’m not telling people to run out and become addicts in this episode. In fact, we can’t even understand what the straight and narrow is? Until we can see it in hindsight. So, the straight and narrow is not something that we can walk into, knowing about. Pretty freaky, huh? The Straight and Narrow is something even the the most pious of mammon serving churches cannot teach us about. We have to walk it ourselves. And only God is qualified to teach us about our straight and narrow path.
But, what I am saying is this. Few make it through addiction, and even fewer find the Way out of addiction. And even fewer still, are called by the Father. So, if you are one of God’s act of knew creations – formerly chained to addiction- and you made it out alive? You have walked one of the narrowest paths between life and death, than most anybody on earth has walked. And, addicts who have been called out of addiction by God, can have something to boast about in Christ. For no church, no religion, nor other human being has the power to call dirt, dust and ashes that are chained to addiction, out of their darkness into His marvelous Light. Only God is able, capable, and holds absolute power over Life and death….think about it. Think about your own narrow path….
