Note – It takes time!
I have been following the Spirit who guides me now, for almost eight years, and I have just now been returned to the faith of Jesus I had at Girl’s Camp. Which, even then, was far more than any Church Christian I have ever talked with? Go figure!
I was 17 years old, and just recently, the Lord showed me when I knew I had gone too far and was falling far faster and beyond anything that I could stop. I was at a party in Old Hickory, or Donelson, or Hermitage, or even Madison TN. I honestly don’t remember where? I just remember walking down the street at night, when it hit me: “You have gone too far, Venisa.” And I rode it all the way down to the gates of hell, where I could hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth coming from the demons locked up for the day of judgement- 38 years later. Scared out of my mind?! You bet your sweet patootie! I was hiding from stalkers and knife wielding crazy men in an alley, for Christ’s sake?! There was no choice, if I wanted to die in peace! Yeah, that’s what I said. Die in peace. For we have to die to self, before we can live. And I spent two years in full view of everyone around me, brought out spiritually naked on full display, by the LORD God, who sent His only begotten Son to rescue a hippie/punk thug, dregs o’ society, prostitute drug addict, dirt bag, dust and ashes like me!
And God help the person who disbelieves the Absolute Power of The LORD of Heaven’s Armies! He really is NOT Something to mess with, folks…..

Scripture References Found – Isaiah 14, Matthew 7, Mark 8, Proverbs 19
Note – It was in verse 12 that the LORD began hardening Pharaoh’s heart. The LORD had given Pharaoh six chances of warnings through signs and plagues. Each time Pharaoh hardened his own heart in pride, indignation, and haughtiness. The seventh time, the LORD did not give Pharaoh the opportunity to decide, and began hardening his heart for him.
Moral of the Story – Be careful about saying no to God in pride one too many times. It’s just better to go ahead and bite the bullet and humble ourselves before God. HE OWNS EVERYTHING!?! Anyways… LOL
