Scripture References Found – Hosea 10, Isaiah 56, Job 33-37, Psalm 96, and James 1
Note – It hit me later that it is my own heart that I’m to till for the seeds that God the Father liberally sows throughout the world. Quite the opposite of what I had always been taught, so it took a minute to sink in. You will be hearing me make references to the traditional thoughts on seed sowing from time to time, as I work to remove this tare of untruth from my heart. GOD DOES IT ALL. My only requirement is to believe by faith in Jesus Christ and seek the perfect and pleasing good will of God. Believe it or not? God’s will is found in the Bible. There is no excuse not to know God’s will.
One of the things that the Lord started training me on, back when Dakota and I were homeless and seeking shelter, is to look for the grace of God in any given situation. Not always easy to do. But, it is possible to find God’s grace if you look for it. A rainbow in the sky, after a summer storm, is a Great reminder of God’s grace. I gave some “homework” for the Facebook peeps, but nary a response was returned. So, let’s bring this little assignment here. Make a deliberate choice to look for the grace of God within the week, and share your testimony. I’d like to see My Big Blue Pearl filled with the Testimony of Jesus.
For me, truth principles and standards are important in my faith walking. It is one thing to not know and do. Quite another to know and do. If you catch my drift? When we go into our inner room and pray to our Father who is in secret, and our Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. True Story!
The rest of my notes I’m gonna have to save until later. The wounds of recent revelations of the practices of a religion I loved, are still too raw. And I’m going to Goosfraba Cool It Out first….
