Note – 1. I was still posting Balcony Talk on Facebook, so there may be a few references to this. 2. I was also in the throws of anguish, having to choose, once again, whom I loved more. The Lord who rescued me in the alley. Or…. and I could list several things to fill the space of “Or” running the gamut of fleshly pleasures, accolades, religion, and family. In the end, I have still chosen to maintain the faith of Jesus and walk in obedience to the dictates of my conscience, to worship the LORD God wholeheartedly by coming to know the Son of God who left His Glory, to take my death on the bathroom floor. And, to retain my sanity and sobriety, I also had to walk away from the people, places, and things that trigger me to let in the sin that crouches at my door. At least, until I can Goosfraba Cool It Out enough to come to terms with the things that I have found out recently, concerning the secrets that are kept for the face and reputation of a man-made religion? In Jesus name…
“Weaker But Wiser” is a MaJoice saying. And, I gotta say, I think it’s pretty spot on? I mean, when else has mankind made the kind of advances we have today? Although, with Nathan saying, concerning the foresight questions the prophets of old could have said; “You can fly?” And, we have had a door blow out one plane-which was just one of how many did they find with missing bolts? And today, a piece of a wing fell off! I’m not sure if “wiser” could be said about the way human beings are so eager to be cattle-d into flying aluminum tubes, just to get from here to there? But, that’s just my humble opinion. I had a very bad experience flying from LAX to Houston to Nashville in 1984. The turbulence was so bad, I thought the plane was going to shake apart?! The pilot tried going up to get out of it, and down to get out of it. There was no place in the airspace, where it was not crazy-shakin’!? We landed in Nashville with the wings rocking. I was praying the whole way, even though I did not know and acknowledge the Spirit of the LORD; “Please God? If you get me on the ground safely in Nashville, so I can see my husband? I will NEVER get back on a plane again!” And, I have kept that vow since 1984. I must confess this, thoug, from 1984. As I rode the escalator down and Stephen saw my face, he said; “You are white as a sheet?! What happened?” All I could do was mutter a mangled “Take me to the Spaghetti Factory! I need a drink.” Once my nerves settled, I told him about the experience.
Additional Notes – 1. I’m still trying to understand the “places” in God’s Kingdom. And I’m not really sure if me saying that Lucifer was the highest angel, are the right words? It could be that, because I have always heard it that way, I’m muttering a tradition? I do not yet have enough evidence to determine Lucifer’s position (as of February 21, 2024). Forgive me for any confusion on this? As, I’m still learning from the Lord about the Spirit of the Word, too, myself. Thanks in advance. : ) 2. This is when the Lord started insisting that I “Look at Lot.” More to this story later…..
