Introducing Exodus E1 – I will be separating the books 1- as we continue reading the Bible
Note – Also Introducing Michael Lash. During our time homeless, Dakota and I stayed in our tent, with the permission of the land holder, who is SAFPAW – Southern Alliance For People and Animal Welfare. An outreach program run by Laurie Green, to serve the low income and homeless, including their pets, in the community of Madison and surrounding areas in Tennessee. It was Christmas time and I had been invited, along with Dakota, and a couple of other women, to see the lights at Jellystone Park… Michael, being the driver. Michael has his own testimony of Jesus and so I will let him tell it, in his time. However, this night our paths crossed. When Michael came into the house, that was the SAFPAW office and also housed the two other women, he began handing out gifts and cards, to the other girls – Perian and and Lisa. As he walked closer to me, he handed me an envelope with a card….inside the card was $20.
Michael didn’t know me from Adam, so I asked: “Why did you do this?” His response melted my heart. “Because I didn’t want you to feel left out.”
We’ve been off and on friends, as God continues to weave His Fabric together, ever since – eight years, last Christmas. The year of 2016
